MEANING OF ZIGURATE
A Zigurate is a monumental architectural structure characteristic of ancient Mesopotamia, particularly in the region that today corresponds to Iraq and parts of Iran. These constructions, dating from around 3000 B.C. to 600 B.C., were pyramid-shaped temples with several levels or platforms, each smaller than the one below, leading to a flat top.
Zigurate served as religious centers and were dedicated to various gods of Mesopotamian mythology. It is believed that the top of the zigurate housed a sanctuary or altar where priests performed rituals and offerings.
The most famous of all is the Zigurate of Ur, dedicated to the moon god Nanna (or Sin), located in the city-state of Ur. These structures not only represented religious power but also symbolized the connection between heaven and earth, functioning as a kind of “stairway” for the gods.
PRODUCTS
In homage to these ancient inhabitants, the Don Emmanuel brand will launch its first line o f cigars, drawing inspiration from the creators of humanity in Sumerian mythology, the Annunaki. Their story, recorded in 14 tablets from the 24th century BC, unveils their arrival on Earth 440,000 years ago from the planet Nibiru in pursuit of gold for their atmosphere. Associated with the construction of monuments like the Egyptian pyramids, they shared knowledge with humans, a reference found in the Book of Enoch, which is excluded from the Bible. The upcoming cigar line will pay tribute to this rich history and heritage.
